Place demand. Find the optimal site.

Drop your demand points on the map. Starting from the weighted center of gravity, the tool refines to the true cost-minimising location - the demand-weighted geometric median - in your browser, instantly, no server round-trip.

The concept

The demand-weighted centroid is the classic first answer to "where should the warehouse go".

How it works

The weighted centroid (COG) minimises squared distance - a quick estimate, but not the cheapest site. We then run Weiszfeld’s algorithm to reach the true minimum-total-weighted-distance point (the 1-median / Weber point). For one facility this is the provable global optimum.

Winning strategy

The geometric median sits nearer high-demand clusters than the plain centroid. Use it as the anchor, then adjust for roads, land and labour.
